The next stage in our world music journey is an impressive library of approximately 18 gigabytes (40 gigabytes uncompressed). Evolution Series has partnered with Hong Sound (Emilymax), a renowned manufacturer of Guzheng, a unique and handcrafted instrument. These Guzheng are true gems, used by elite musicians in China and Taiwan.
In the interface of this instrument, you will find three boxes in the central part. Within each frame, you can select and load a specific joint. Since there are three frames, you can load up to three joints into a preset slot. Between the three articulation frames, there is the sensitivity threshold. This adjusts the transition between the three frames. For example, if “Vertical Mode” is set to “Speed” and the key press is between 0-80 (as shown in the image), it will play the frame below. If the key press is between 81-109, it will play the middle frame, and if it is between 110-127, it will play the top frame.
